Those stones are still on the bridge and I myself lifted one in each hand on many occasions and one market day, I carried them across the bridge and back, some four to five yards - Donald Dinnie.

Nick travelled to Potarch along with Eddie Hall, Robert Oberst & Brian shaw to record an episode of The Strongest Man in History, a series created by the History Channel. Nick attempted to carry the stones acrossthe bridge at Potarch without setting them down and managed a distance of 3 feet 7.5 inches. Nick's lift was witnessed by Stevie Shanks, Brett Nicol, Jim & Rosemary Splaine, Helen Knowles, Malcolm Nicol & the large crowd of spectators, lifters and film crew in attendance.
